Here you will find various options for your journey and arrival at the Bike Festival in Blidinje Nature Park. The location is well-connected and easily accessible from different regions.

In case you are flying to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the nearest airport to the Blidinje Nature Park is Mostar International Airport. Since there are no organized buses, you can order a taxi or private transfer to the center of Mostar. Renting a car might be the most convenient option as buses do not operate directly to Blidinje.

If you are flying to Bosnia and Herzegovina via Sarajevo International Airport, you can also reach Blidinje. The airport is well-connected to the city center, which takes about 30 minutes by local bus or taxi. Furthermore, the main bus station is a 30-minute bus ride from the airport, including a 10-minute walk. From the main station, you can take a bus to other cities like Mostar or Jablanica.

Blidinje Nature Park is just a 2-hour drive from the Adriatic Sea, so you can also arrive from Split Airport and Dubrovnik Airport in Croatia.

Getting to Blidinje Nature park by car is a breeze.

Blidinje Nature Park is easily accessible from the cities of Posušje, Tomislavgrad, and Jablanica. If coming from the west, you can take the route from Posušje via Rakitno (R419) or from Tomislavgrad via Lipe (R419a). If coming from the east, the route is from Jablanica via R419.

For larger cities, the capital Sarajevo is about a 2-hour drive, accessible through Doljani on the A1 and E73/M17. Note that part of the A1 toll highway applies in this region.

From Mostar, which is about 1.5 hours from Jablanica, you can take the E73/M17.

From Zenica to Blidinje, it takes approximately 2.5 hours via A1 and E73/M17.

By bus

Buses do not directly reach the lake or other attractions in the nature park. However, there are bus lines to Jablanica from major cities such as Sarajevo and Zenica, as well as Mostar and Konjic. There are also bus lines from Split in Croatia. Therefore, reaching the park is more feasible by car or opting for organized tours.

Mostar train station, which is the closest to Blidinje Nature park, is accessible year-round in Bosnia and Herzegovina or from Ploče in Croatia.
