VOLUNTEER AT BLIDINJE BIKE FESTIVAL
We pride ourselves on organising the best cycling events and bike rides in the Bosnia and Herzegovina. Providing our riders with an exceptional experience and a safe and enjoyable day is our priority. It takes a dedicated team of staff and volunteers in different roles to make them happen.
Crew members take on many important tasks. From helping at registration, marshalling, to managing Feed Stations, there is so much you can do to help make these rides a success. Our volunteers are fully supported, briefed and advised by one of our team, so you will always be in good hands..
CAN I HELP AND STAY DURING WEEKEND IN BLIDINJE NATURE PARK?
We provide our volunteers with the opportunity to spend the entire weekend at Blidinje during the Bike Festival. All our volunteers receive paid transportation, accommodation, and meals throughout the weekend at Blidinje, as well as visualized event t-shirts and sponsor gifts.
And not only that, you can directly participate in the cycling events we organize. For example, if you don’t have specific duties during the bike ride, you are free to cycle and enjoy with the team.
And, of course, everyone is invited to the night party on Saturday!
The greatest support and assistance from volunteers are needed on Sunday when the professional cycling races are taking place. Therefore, join us and support this excellent idea by getting involved in the event and proudly representing it with the Blidinje BIKE Festival team!
DO I NEED TO BE A CYCLIST?
Definitely not. We need friendly individuals to help at the start and finish, Feed stations, registration desks and marshalling. No Cycling experience is needed.
HOW MUCH TIME WILL I NEED TO COMMIT?
This depends on what you will be doing. Our rides are usually on a Saturday or Sunday involving an early start, but you can decide how much time you would like to commit. Some volunteers help out for a couple of hours while others stay for the whole day.
