Friday, July 12, 2024: The festival begins with a VIP presentation and Gala Dinner, the official opening of which will be attended by numerous distinguished guests, including the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Lidiju Bradaru, representatives of federal ministries, local governments, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and representatives of international organizations and sponsors. Saturday, July 13, 2024: The day is dedicated to recreational cyclists and families. Registration for the recreational cycling tour “Ajduka Trail” begins early in the morning, and the cycling tour begins at 10:00 a.m. Participants will visit the most beautiful parts of Blidinje with tourist guides and enjoy the local gastronomic offer. Also, during Saturday and Sunday, a fair of domestic products and outdoor equipment will be held, where 13 domestic manufacturers will present their products. Visitors will have the opportunity to test new Škoda vehicles, the new Continental tire range with new features and manufacturing methods, bicycle models and equipment at cycling stands, as well as buy products at promotional prices. The evening party will be held at the Sky Cafe Bar on the SKI trail, and will include a raffle and a prize game with valuable prizes for all participants.

Sunday, 14.07.2024: The day is reserved for professional cyclists who will compete for the title of Balkan Champion and points for the UCI Class 1 race. The race starts at 10:00, followed by the ceremony of announcing the winners with a performance by HKUD Posušje. Recreational cyclists can also participate in this day full of adrenaline and fun. Training camp with UCI experts: In collaboration with the International Cycling Union (UCI), two UCI experts from Switzerland will hold training courses for cycling club coaches ten days before the festival. Coaches who complete the course will receive an international license, which will improve the quality of cycling in the region.

The organizers of the event "Continental Blidinje BIKE Festival", which is held for the seventh year in a row, but for the first time as a higher-level event, i.e. as the Balkan Championship and the UCI Class 1 XCM Herzegovina Marathon, with the approval of the Balkan Federation and the World Cycling Federation, were presented today by the presidents of the Government of Herzegovina- Neretva County Mariji Buhač project of this year's event.

The President of the Cycling Association of BiH, Toni Zorić, emphasized the touristic and economic importance of both the project itself, which is growing into a traditional summer event in the Blidinje Nature Park, and the fact that this year they are making a big step forward in terms of gathering cyclists from approximately 20 European countries, with hundreds of participants. on the trails of Blidinje, which in lengths of 56 km and 85 km will pass through the most beautiful areas of Blidinje, but also connect cultural and historical destinations.

"The World Cycling Federation (UCI) approved us to organize a first-class race, with the ultimate intention of organizing the European Championship in Herzegovina, expected in the coming four years. The project is extremely complex, large and comprehensive, because over three days, with the opening on July 12, in addition to the official race, we have planned a family recreational day, an appropriate fair of cycling equipment and indigenous Herzegovina products, training for new cycle tourism guides, training for children and young athletes , but also our tourist offers. As Blidinje administratively belongs to the area of three counties, family businesses, small businesses, restaurateurs and tourism workers from the area of HNŽ, ZHŽ and HBŽ are also included in the organization", explained Zorić.

Apart from him, the project was also discussed Marija Vukoja, head of the "Visit Blidinje" project and Ivan Jurilj, director of the Office for European Integration at the Government of ZHŽ, has been actively involved in projects for the development of cycle tourism and the branding of Herzegovina as a unique tourist product for years.

Ovaj trodnevni događaj osim MTB maratona sadržavat će i brojne druge outdoor aktivnosti, rekreativni događaji, edukativne radionice, tu su događaji za cijele obitelji, a neće nedostajati ni dobre zabave u kasnim satima, jer i ove godine subota je planirana za noćni party! Another major recognition has come for the Blidinje BIKE Festival. The International Cycling Federation UCI has confirmed the importance of this event by including it in its calendar and giving it a very high UCI C1 race ranking.

Iako je pobirao sve pohvale i slovio za najveći biciklistički festival u Bosni i Hercegovini, nakon petog izdanja u 2023 godini, organizatori su nakon pet održanih izdanja odlučili podići ljestvicu, te pokucati na vrata Europe. I uspjeli su. Prvo je stiglo priznanje od Balkanske Federacije, a danas tu je i priznanje na svjetskoj razini. Blidinje je jednostavno lokacija koja se mora posjetiti, a Blidinje BIKE Festival je događaj koji se ne smije propustiti zaključak je.

U 2024 godini organizatori najavljuju dolazak sportaša iz više od 20 zemalja svijeta, a sigurni smo kako će se svi gosti vratiti svojim kućama sa lijepim uspomenama i ponovo u narednim godinama sa obiteljima posjetiti Bosnu i Hercegovinu, kao jednu novu i privlačnu turističku destinaciju.

“Početkom 9. mjeseca dobili smo dopis od predsjednika Balkanske Federacije i vijest kako je naša nominacija da se Blidinje nađe u njihovom kalendaru odobrena, te će se na Blidinju u 2024 godini održati Balkansko prvenstvo što nas je doista obradovalo i učinilo sretnim. To znači da će Blidinje u 2024 godini ugostiti više od 12 zemalja članica Balkana koje će sudjelovati na ovom prvenstvu", said Toni Zorić, president of the HerzegovinaBike association.

No ovih dana stigla je i vijest od UCI-a, odnosno Međunarodne biciklističke Federacije koji poručuju kako je Blidinje uvršteno u UCI kalendar i nosi jako visok rang organizacije UCI C1.

“Ovo je doista velika vijest, Blidinje će u 2024 godini postati jedna velika sportska arena koja će ugostiti sportaše iz cijelog svijeta. Međunarodna biciklistička Federacija broji 199 zemalja članica i upravo sada u ovom trenutku, sportaši i timovi iz 199 zemalja gledaju u UCI kalendar i planiraju svoje aktivnosti u 2024 godini. Znamo da na Blidinje neće doći sudionici iz 199 zemalja, ali je gotovo sigurno kako će zemlje koje su našem turizmu zanimljive poput Austrije, Njemačke, Italije, Češke, Mađarske. Slovačke, Španjolske, Poljske i mnogih drugih uzeti učešće i posjetiti našu zemlju te sa sobom ponijeti lijepe utiske i vratiti se ponovo. Želimo Park prirode Blidinje, našu zemlju Bosnu i Hercegovinu predstaviti u što boljem svjetlu svim tim sportašima i pokazati im što sve imamo za ponuditi kao turistička destinacija”, dodao je Zorić.

“Kada govorimo o razini događaja, Blidinje BIKE Festival u kalendaru Svjetske Federacije nosi UCI C1 rang što je jako visoka razina. Iznad imamo samo “Hors Class” događaje kao najveća razina, a tu razinu događaja dobije samo par jačih zemalja poput Italije, Francuske, Njemačke koji organiziraju događaje na doista vrhunskim razinama. No, zasigurno je kako ni mi nećemo stati na ovome i gledati ćemo u 2025 godini da opet napravimo iskorak više sa organizacijom Blidije BIKE Festivala. Biciklizam je sport koji je u velikoj ekspanziji i to je sport koji na najbolji način prezentira sve potencijale jedne zemlje, a najbliži i najbolji primjer je i CRO Race utrka koja se nedavno održala u Republici Hrvatskoj. I mi u Bosni i Hercegovini stremimo ka vrhunskim događajima, a Blidinje BIKE Festival je jedan od njih“.

Blidinje BIKE Festival je događaj koji će okupiti zaljubljenike u biciklizam i sportove na otvorenom tijekom tri dana u Parku prirode Blidinje, jednom od najljepših prirodnih lokaliteta koje Hercegovina ima za ponuditi. Volimo kazati kako je to autentični biciklistički festival za sva vaša osjetila. Festival na kojem ljudi mogu upoznati druge ljude koji obožavaju aktivnosti na otvorenom u jednoj od najljepših biciklističkih regija na svijetu. I u svom šestom izdanju u 2024 godine, tijekom tri dana tisuće sudionika, zajedno će boraviti u Festivalskom kampu u planinama Blidinja. Tijekom dana možete birati između raznih opcija i ruta za bicikliranje, planinarenje, događajima organiziranim za najmlađe ili jednostavno se opustiti i krenuti u istraživanje Parka prirode Blidije – lokacije s prekrasnim krajolicima i povijesnim znamenitostima, kao i izvrsnom gastronomskom ponudom.

Ovom prilikom organizatori se još jednom žele zahvaliti svim sponzorima i prijateljima događaja koji su do sada bili uz njih i pomažu promociju Blidinja, kao i Bosne i Hercegovine i to: Federalno ministarstvo Kulture i Sporta, Federalno ministarstvo Obrazovanja i Nauke, HT Eronet, Vlada Županije Zapadnohercegovačke, Vlada Hercegovačko-neretvanske županije, Općina Posušje, Turistička zajednica HNŽ/K, Sportski Savez Grada Mostara, Visit Blidinje, Capriolo Mostar, M-Bike Shop, LEDA Voda, Hercegovina Vino, Guma-M, restoran “Hajdučke Vrleti”, restoran “Staza”, restoran “Risovac”.
